The USGS did a press conference this week on Kilauea’s little crater lake.
The image above is what the top of the water table looks like at the volcano’s summit.
There really doesn’t seem to be a risk of any imminent uptick of activity, per this report. However, they did remind us that explosive events can happen at Kilauea, as well as runny red lava flows.
