Yes, pumas roam the rainforest, and as far as I know, no one really knows how they coexist with jaguars…but they do!


Wait. Where are the margays?
Ah, this video includes them along with the smaller oncilla:


This mechanical voice can be annoying, but there are so many cool views of the cats!


Margays look a lot like ocelots, don’t they?

Here is a video about margays that, among other things, gives us a few hints on how to distinguish between ocelots, margays, and oncillas (which are also known as tigrinas, or tiger cats):


The only cat in the Americas that can run down tree trunks. Asia’s marbled cat and clouded leopard do it, too.
