However, mutts and moggies were so popular in December that I’m going to dedicate at least one guest-video post each month to them.
And next month — the “F” month — will be on Felis, the domestic cat lineage.
But this is January and it’s Jaguar Month!
For starters, we’re still inside walls (even if the wall is a wire enclosure), and we are about to meet Keira.
That is, I think it is the same jaguar, although this is not spelled out in the videos.
While growing up, this video shows, Keira had a rough day:
No, it definitely was not a good time for H. sapiens to be in the enclosure.
Despite what they say about returning her to the wild, she apparently remained captive and feisty.
Then she met Neron:
