We made it through both sabertooths and popular AKC dog breeds!
Now what?
Well, the volcano Semeru came up with an answer today, but more generally, here are my plans.
- First, continue winding down from paleocats (for now); I miss them already.
- Return to the Friday Feline and Dog Day Saturday Afternoon guest video posts, starting this Friday some time. These might not always be videos, since AI seems to have increased the already large drek content on YouTube. There might be short posts, too, if I come across interesting news. From now to year’s end, we will be looking at mutts and moggies — an extension of last year’s posts around the holidays. Things will get wild again as 2026 comes in.
- Get ready for another project: the supervolcanoes eBook. More details about that in a future writing update. You will know that work on that has begun when the Department of Earth-Shattering Kabooms picks up again on Sundays. I’ll be outlining the eBook while finishing up the VEI 8s here.
- The only specific blog work will be organizing the restless volcanoes featured posts better. I let them go while concentrating on the sabertooths and they let me go by not acting up big-time until today’s trouble at Semeru.
Most likely that will be first on next week’s agenda when I get back to work.
As always, thank you for your interest, support, and likes!
