Did you know that these beautifully thug-ugly dogs have a Latin name? I didn’t.
The American Kennel Club recognized this popular dog in 2010, but I don’t see an AKC video on YouTube, although there is one on the breed page.

Here is forty minutes’ worth of breed judging at the 2025 Westminster show — it’s loud, with lots of distractions but the dogs are not at all fazed.
I can see one of the old Romans owning a dog like this
