However, Speothos the Bush Dog deserves more than a passing mention, and it’s also closely related to last week’s maned wolf.
But no two relatives ever looked so different from one another!

They’re weird and kind of adorable, but the way they hunt is absolutely terrifying.
Otters, which are caniforms, have the nickname “wolves of the river,” but Speothos actually is a river wolf!
