The Powell Tribune calls Vulpes vulpes macroura the perfect fox, and while others might have different fox favorites, it’s hard to resist that unusual look.

There isn’t a lot of information readily available online about the Rocky Mountain fox subspecies, which NatureServe locates only in Wyoming and Oregon.

So let’s just keep tossing pine cones around and enjoy the lovely creature for as long as it chooses to stay with us!
