Writing Update

My foray into commercial writing over at Patreon has been tougher than expected, but that’s all to the good — I’m writing better (I think; no brickbats have been thrown, anyway).

I was going to make today’s Popocatepetl post the first exclusive one there but decided to make it freely available, as it explains where my Patreon background image came from and is also timely, with Don Goyo’s birthday coming up.

And that means I can share it here, too!

I did promise my (thus far absent) patrons at least one exclusive post a month and, for March, that will be Popo Part 2, about monitoring.

After that, I’m free for the rest of the month to blog about supervolcanoes. My Toba notes are calling…

As always, thank you for your ongoing interest and encouragement!
