The rescue is shown in the second video. First, let’s get some facts about the wild dogs we saw on that Malaysian trail cam video yesterday:
Dholes are endangered, and wildlife officers try to protect them in any way possible.
In the following video, a dhole got trapped in a snare and the conservationists rescue her.
Snares are nonselective death traps for many endangered wildlife species, and as you’ll see, this one cut the dhole severely.
That part of the video is grim so here’s a “spoiler”: She lived, got back to her pack, and recovered. Yay!
