Guest Video: Megeti

This was to have been a straightforward “Newbies (Rare Canid Version)” post, but after checking the IUCN canid list and selecting the five most endangered members of Canidae, I started with the Ethiopian wolf and immediately found a hour-long video that is too good not to share in toto!

Note: Predation scenes, but also jungle lions and aerial bird dances.

That gorgeous highland topography has also been featured as a 2005 “LIP of the month“! (Jargon alert.)

The other canids deserve a post of their own, either today (if I can manage it) or next week.

Lagniappe:

More pups! (If there are zoo videos, I haven’t found them yet, but reportedly, the wild population is monitored and is growing.)
