Guest Video: Leopard Stalks Baboons

This one – the slinkiest big cat I’ve ever watched:

Sigh. It’s usually the young that suffer. At least cats kill their prey first; canids generally eat it alive on the run.

Just to remind us that the cats don’t always win, here is that famous baboon beatdown (linked above) filmed from a different angle:

Again, per news reports, the leopard — a dispersing young male, perhaps? — suffered superficial wounds but made a safe getaway.
