I was planning to do South American foxes today but discovered, via Dr. Wikipedia, that they aren’t really foxes after all, just close relatives — a good reason to do some reading in my newly discovered book on canids before posting.
In the meantime, it’s cold up here in Oregon, and when I saw this mom go back in for a nap, I could really sympathize with her.

Bears, including this hypercarnivore, are caniforms, so that’s okay.
But if you insist on canids, YouTube has you covered —

- Polar Bear Specialist Group
- Bear safety (not just polar bears)
- Bear conservation links (not checked for broken ones, but you can always run a bad link through the Wayback Machine).
