Guest Video: Mauna Loa


We took a look at Kilauea’s current status last week, but neighboring Mauna Loa is also on elevated alert status — nothing drastic yet, just slow inflation and some increased low-level seismicity as magma comes back in, per the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.

Thought it would be a good time to check out this 2015 look back at Mauna Loa’s big eruption in 1984:
