A Hug For Everyone Affected By Yesterday’s Tornado Outbreak

They just kept coming and coming, across Louisiana and Mississippi, into Alabama. And some lasted for a very long time.

I know it’s not much comfort to survivors, but it’s still true: the death toll this morning would have been in the hundreds without the development of modern forecasting and emergency management techniques.
