Guest Videos: The Valdivian Rainforest


What is this wonderful place?



Home to one of the world’s smallest cats. We’ll meet this cute little feline Friday.

This is a temperate rainforest — one that grows where there is plenty of rain but in temperatures more suited to the middle latitudes than the tropics.

Believe it or not, this type of rainforest also grows in the US Pacific Northwest, among other places.
