Guest Video: Jim Fowler


Some of those “Wild Kingdom” episodes I grew up with still hold up today. Most recently, I used one with Jim Fowler for the Terai post.

According to sources I read for that post, this part of northern India/southern Nepal is where much of what biologists know about tigers was first discovered. And Jim Fowler was apparently in on that from the beginning.

I did wonder what he was doing these days and just came across this video, posted by the Wild Kingdom people this week. I had forgotten all about those Johnny Carson episodes, which had me in stitches!

This is beautiful — hope you like it. And what he says at the end is very true.
