Guest Video: The Subtropical Forest


Imagine a primitive cat, say, Proailrus or Styriofelis, in those woods!

The following video is very nice, but I’m interested in this biome because, per everything I have read, the modern cat family and its now-extinct sabertoothed relatives evolved in Western Europe during the Miocene when the region was covered by subtropical forest.
